AbOuT mE

Hi my name is Adrie and i am 15 years old. I love to do crafty things and i play tennis. I am mormon and i am proud of it! I have 6 people in my family. Mom and Dad,Ashlee who is 20, maddy who is 17, me, and cole who is 10. I LOVE cold weather and Fall And Christmas. The thing that inspired me to create this blog is a church project i am working on. In our church young women ages 12-18 are encouraged to complete a book called Personal Progress. In this book we learn and practice the values: Faith, Divine Nature, individual Worth, Knowledge,Choice and Accountability, Good works,Integrity and Virtue. For each value there is experinces where we read scriptures, talks, artilces etc. At the end of each value we are required to do a 10 hour project on that value. Its been an amazing journey with Personal progress, and i am almost done. The last project I have to finish is Choice and accountability. I was having a hard time figuring out what to do for this project. Last sunday i went on Pinterest to help give me ideas for this project. I came across a girl who had done a modesty project. The light went off! Why dont i do a choice and accountability project on choosing to be modest. I created a big powerpoint with scriptures, quotes, cute modest outfits, and videos about the importance of modesty. I then decided to get a girl or a few from our ward to be my model of modesty. Through this blog i would like to relate the message sister Elaine S. Dalton once said, "Modesty is not a matter of being “hip.” It is a matter of the heart and being holy. It is not about being fashionable. It is about being faithful. It is not about being cool. It is about being chaste and keeping covenants. It is not about being popular, but about being pure. Modesty has everything to do with keeping our footing securely on the path of chastity and virtue."
